  • Dr. AJ Mannion

Dr. AJ Mannion DAcHM, L.Ac, Dipl. OM is a NJ licensed acupuncturist, certified TCM herbalist, and energy healing practitioner with additional training in bodywork modalities including tui-na, Craniosacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, and massage therapy. He has taught competitive dance and acrobatics since 2010, worked as a competitive judge for seven years, and continues to teach technique master classes around the country. His long-term professional involvement in the dance world deeply informs his clinical understanding of structural dynamics, movement patterns, and how the body adapts to stress and compensation, as well as the living demands of competitive athletic performance. Since 2023 he has also served as adjunct faculty at Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine, teaching multiple courses in both the M.S. Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine programs. AJ believes that symptoms arise as expressions of deeper patterns, and these patterns both influence and reflect our physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Symptoms are treated as respected teachers, guiding our attention to patterns of misalignment and offering opportunities for meaningful transformation. Through the integration of acupuncture, bodywork, and energy healing, sessions aim to shift those foundational patterns that generate symptoms so the system can reorganize in a more clear, coherent and functional way.
